Today we migrated AACovers over to a new server. Some of you may have seen errors while conencting to the old server. Our new home is up and running perfectly.
I've never understood why we're not allowed to access the deleted covers and uploads section to download from there.
No offense to the mods, but the uploads section is backed up currently with 12 pages of images to go through and it takes at least a month before a cover is even looked at.
Shouldn't it be our decision whether we want to download a cover or not that may be of lesser quality? Maybe someone is out there who can download a cover that has problems and fix it.
I never saw the point of having a deleted covers section if the normal user can't access it. It just seems like a major waste of bandwidth to me to have all the thumbs and the entire section load, but not be able to access the covers.
I notice the resource materials are part of the gallery, as a result only a few things can be saved at a time before a limit is reached. As AA obviously want peoples custom covers and want them to be able to use these materials shouldn't they be made available to everyone, rather than just users with download rights?
Just seems a little counter-productive to the purpose they are meant to serve.
